Horizontal Inline Cyclone Separator

JCI's horizontal inline (or axial) cyclone separators are compact, efficient, and reliable. There are no moving parts, yielding a near-maintenance free vessel. The efficiency is consistent throughout the operating design range, with turndown as high as 4:1. Typical applications include compressor suction scrubbers for pipelines, separators for capturing liquid carryover from upstream equipment, glycol scrubbers, and amine scrubbers.

Vertical Recycling Cyclone Separator

JCI's vertical recycling separators are compact, efficient, and reliable. There are no moving parts, yielding a near-maintenance free vessel. The efficiency is consistent throughout the operating design range, with turndown as high as 5:1. Typical applications include inlet separators, well site separators, group and test separators, steam separators, geothermal steam separators, contactor tower scrubbers, compressor suction and interstage scrubbers, cooler afterscrubbers, glycol scrubbers, and amine scrubbers.

ALTA-Cyclone Inlet Device

Sometimes referred to as vortex tubes or defoaming cyclones, JCI's ALTA-Cyclone inlet device is used as a primary separation device for any gas-liquid separation application. The device is installed on the inlet to a 2, 3, or 4-phase separator, such as an inlet separator, slug catcher, free water knockout (FWKO), degasser, treater, flash vessel, etc. The cyclonic inlet device replaces conventional deflectors, resulting in an improved momentum breaker, defoaming of process fluid to ensure foam-free operation, and improved liquid-liquid separation.
